Cotswolds & Warwickshire Farm Shop
Run by farmer Mark Holberton and his wife Liz, Talton Mill Farm Shop & Cafe is situated 5 miles south of Stratford upon Avon just off the A3400 in the glorious south Warwickshire countryside, between the villages of Newbold on Stour and Alderminster.
Talton Mill is a rural treasure; a smallholding combining the characteristics of an idyllic country lifestyle with the serious responsibility of providing a genuine source of real farm food for the local community. The ethos of our small organisation is ‘buy when it’s best’, assuring the customer that taste is superlative when produce is consumed at the right time. Key to our success is the management of the farmer-consumer communication which promotes customer awareness of seasonal offerings.
Most importantly, we employ traditional mixed farming techniques which not only produce an unusually broad selection of fresh fruit, meat and vegetables which are available to the public at our onsite Farm Shop & Butchery, but are fundamental to its quality.
At Talton Mill Farm Shop and Cafe we aim to provide our visitor’s with a wide range of delights – from fresh free range eggs from our own chickens to home reared and locally sourced meats sold from our butchery, home-grown and locally sourced vegetables and home-made food. Our deli counter provides an array of cheeses, home made pies and pastries, olives and antipasti. We also sell a variety of artisan kitchen cupboard ingredients in the shop including gluten-free. Our wonderful on-site chef also bakes all our cakes and puddings on-site as well as all the delicious meals served in The Old Shop Cafe. Alongside The Old Shop Cafe we also have The Old Store – selling a range of quality kitchen tableware and accessories.
We also host a variety of events at the Cafe throughout the year ranging from quiz nights to wine tastings, food demonstrations to seasonal suppers. Sign up for our e-newsletter via our contact page to keep up to date with what’s on here!
We look forward to welcoming you, your family and friends to Talton Mill.
