Talton Mill Supper Club – August to December Suppers
After much success and wonderfully positive feedback from our first six months of Talton Supper Club events, we are delighted to bring your our list of monthly supper nights at Talton Mill from August to December 2018. All our suppers are cooked using our home reared meats from our farm and locally sourced vegetables – it really is ‘field to fork’ food through and through!
Please take a look at our list of supper nights and see below for booking details – as always they take place on the third Friday of each month. Whenever possible we add some live music to our evenings too and we light the fire pit outside which adds to the rustic and charming ambience of the night.
Friday 20th July – Talton Summer Bath-e-cue with Live Music. £20 per head. 7pm start
Celebrate summer with us at Talton Mill alongside the Millstream in the glorious Warwickshire countryside. We will serve you with a selection of Talton home reared BBQ meats cooked on our converted Victorian bath known as the ‘Bathecue’! Served with a delicious selection of salads and artisan bread and followed by a variety of summer puddings. There will be a paybar and live music for those that wish to partake! We will also light the fire pit, weather permitting.
We are delighted welcome the return of the 3 Brothers Band to Talton for this event – a three piece acoustic band of brothers who will entertain us with originals and covers from across the 60’s and 70’s. Wonderful voices, guitar playing and harmonies.
Friday 17th August – Talton Tapas & Live Music Supper. £22.50 per head. 7pm start
Enjoy a delicious tapas sharing board made up of a variety of different tasty seasonal bites using our home reared meats from the farm and locally sourced vegetables. Wash it all down with your own choice of wine or whatever tipple you would like to bring! Your tapas will be followed by a selection of sweet treats and coffee too. All in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with a variety of live music throughout the evening. Sit back, relax and enjoy! Bring your own bottle. We will light the fire pit outside if weather permits.
Friday 21st September – Talton Grape & Grain Supper. £22.50 per head. 7pm start
Join us to celebrate the bringing in of the harvest with a hearty farm supper of home reared spicy beef stew slow cooked in red wine and served with coriander couscous and seasonal roasted vegetables. Followed by homemade Bakewell tart and plum compote. Plus coffee and a chocolate bite to finish. Bring your own bottle. We will light the fire pit outside if weather permits.
Friday 19th October – Roast Beef Sharing Board Supper. £25 per head. 7pm start.
Back by popular demand! Home reared Talton Aberdeen Angus beef roasting joint, carved and brought to your table on a sharing board and accompanied by fresh locally sourced vegetables, roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce and gravy. All boards serve either 2, 4 or 6. Bring your own alcohol. Followed by seasonal fruit crumble and vanilla ice cream. £25 per head. Bring your own bottle. We will light the fire pit outside if weather permits.
Friday 16th November : Chilli & SHOUT. £22.50 per head. 7pm start.
An uplifting, heart warming evening of chilli con carne supper and musical entertainment from Stratford’s grooviest soul choir – SHOUT – performing uplifting soul and pop music from Stevie Wonder to The Beatles, Oasis to Cold Play and many more …
Tuck into a delicious homemade chilli con carne using Talton Mill home reared minced Aberdeen Angus beef and served with rice, fresh salsa and a natural yoghurt and coriander dressing. Followed by our tangy homemade lemon roulade. Coffee and a sweet treat.
A £2.50 donation will be made from every ticket sold to MacMillan Cancer Support.
Bring your own alcohol. We will light the firepit if weather permits.
Friday 21st December: Festive Supper & Quiz : £22.50 per head. 7pm start.
Take a break from Christmas preparations and indulge in our Festive Supper & Quiz Night. Tuck into home reared chicken, leek and chestnut crumble served with festive spiced red cabbage and peas. Followed by warm christmas pudding chocolate brownies and brandy cream! To finish … coffee and sweet treat. Christmas Quiz Teams of 2-6 people please.
