SUPPER CLUB NIGHTS & SPECIAL EVENTS

At Talton Mill we love bringing people together to enjoy good, honest food in quirky, rustic surroundings. Our supper nights are held on regular occasions throughout the year in the Mill Woodhouse or outside under the canopy and in the gardens adjacent to the mill stream.

We feature a different culinary themes each time using our own free range, home-reared meat and locally sourced vegetables. In the warmer months we light the fire pit and make use of the outdoor canopy and gardens alongside the millstream.  Most supper nights have live music too … depending upon what we can organise and depending upon the event.  Pre-booking is essential.

Vegetarians and dietary requirements are always catered for too (please specify on booking or e.mail us at least one week prior to the event).

In the warmer months (and weather permitting) we will light the fire pit and make use of the outdoor canopy and gardens alongside the millstream. Pre-booking is essential.

By joining the Talton Mill Supper Club you will receive regular updates on our monthly meals, newsletters, recipes and priority booking.  It is free to join too!

FORTHCOMING SUPPER NIGHTS

YULETIDE SUPPER, FESTIVE TALES & CAROLS
Friday 20th December. 7pm. £25.00. Bar. Carols
A pre-Christmas feast! A glass of mulled wine on arrival followed by turkey & cranberry pie, spiced red cabbage and peas.  Warm Christmas pudding brownies and brandy cream.  Coffee.

Talton Mill Roast Beef Sharing Board Supper.  Friday 24th Jan. 7pm.  Tickets : £25 per head. 
Talton Mill home reared Angus roast beef supper, carved an brought to your table on a sharing board plus all the trimmings
Always a firm favourite supper night! Join us in our rustic, cosy Mill Woodhouse at Talton Mill. Tuck into our own home reared Angus roast beef, carved and brought to your table on a sharing board. Accompanied by fresh, locally sourced vegetables, roasted poatoes, Yorkshire pudding and rich beef gravy. Followed by homemade chocolate brownies and chocolate sauce. Finish with ground coffee and a sweet treat! There will be live music and a pay bar at this event. Please note tables may be shared with others depending upon your group size. The fire pit may be lit outside, depending upon the weather.

Great British Beef & Ale Pie : Friday 28th Feb. 7pm. Tickets : £25 per head. 
Talton Mill Great British Beef & Ale Pie supper night – with live music. Field to fork food beef from our farm and locally sourced veg.
Come and join us in our rustic Mill Woodhouse to celebrate the Great British Pie! Enjoy delicious Talton beef & ale pie homemade with our own Angus beef from the farm. This hearty dish will be served with creamy mashed potato and buttered peas.  Followed by a traditional British pud – homemade sticky toffee pudding and cream. Then coffee and a sweet treat to finish. There will be live music at this event and a pay bar. Tables may be shared depending upon group sizes.  We will light the fire pit outside, depending upon the weather. 

Talton Mill Mother’s Day Sunday Roast Pork Lunch. Sun 22 March. 12.30  Tickets : £25 per adult. £17.50 per child.
Mother’s Day Sunday Roast Pork. Field to fork food – home reared pork from our farm and locally sourced vegetables .

Celebrate Mothering Sunday at Talton Mill with a roast lunch of succulent Talton Mill home reared roast pork with crispy crackling, stuffing, apple sauce and gravy. Carved and brought to your table on a sharing board. Accompanied by fresh, locally sources seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes. Follow this delicious main course with a traditional pudding of Bakewell sponge and custard. Coffee and a sweet treat. There will be live music and a paybar at this event. We will also light the firepit outside depending upon the weather. We cater for vegetarians and special dietary requirements too – please let us know on booking.


Chicken Curry & Quiz Night : Friday 17th April. 7pm. Tickets : £25 per head. 
Always a firm favourite so book early!

Put your general knowledge to the test in our spring quiz. After a few rounds you will be served a delicious Talton chicken curry along with rice, naan and mango chutney. This will be followed by tangy lemon tart and creme fraiche and a few more quiz rounds!

Coffee and a sweet treat.

Talton Honey Roast Ham & Home Grown Asparagus Supper Night. Friday May 15th 7pm. Tickets : £25 per head. 
Field to fork food from our farm

Come and enjoy an evening of field to fork food from our farm … home reared roasted ham served with lemon-thyme sauce and our freshly picked home grown asparagus plus dauphinoise potatoes.

Followed by apple sponge and custard. Coffee and a sweet treat .

There will be live music at this event and a licensed pay bar.

Talton Midsummer Outdoor Feast & Live Band. Friday June 19th 7pm. Tickets : £25 per head. 
A special outdoor feast night alongside the mill stream

Join us for a special outdoor feast night in our Mill Woodhouse gardens/terrace, alongside the mill stream to celebrate mid-summer. Dine of platters of slow roasted Talton home reared thyme and garlic pork shoulder served on rustic sharing boards and accompanied by summer salad bowls, homemade slaw and new potatoes.

Followed by summer lemon roulade with raspberry coulis. Coffee and a sweet treat.

Served on our eco-friendly plant-based plates and cutlery.

Vegetarians and special dietary requirements are catered for. Please inform us at the time of booking.

There will be a live band at this event and our quirky converted horsebox bar (The Straw Bar) will be onsite serving alcoholic drinks including pimms!
