At Talton Mill we love bringing people together to enjoy good, honest food in quirky, rustic surroundings. Our monthly supper nights are held in the Mill Woodhouse on the third Friday of each month from 7pm onwards.

We feature a different culinary theme each time using our own free range, home-reared meat and locally sourced vegetables. In the warmer months we light the fire pit and make use of the outdoor canopy and gardens alongside the millstream.  Most supper nights have live music too … depending upon what we can organise and depending upon the event.  Pre-booking is essential.

Vegetarians and dietary requirements are catered for too (please specify on booking or e.mail us at least one week prior to the event).

Friday 19th October – Roast Beef Sharing Board Supper.  £25 per head. 7pm start. PAY BAR

Back by popular demand! Home reared Talton Aberdeen Angus beef roasting joint, carved and brought to your table on a sharing board and accompanied by fresh locally sourced vegetables, roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.  All boards serve either 2, 4 or 6. Followed by seasonal fruit crumble and vanilla ice cream.  Plus coffee and a sweet treat to close the evening! £25.00 per head.

We will light the firepit outside if weather permits.  Licensed event with a paybar. Live music.

Friday 16th November : Chilli & SHOUT. £22.50 per head. 7pm start. PAY BAR

An uplifting, heart warming evening of chilli con carne supper and musical entertainment from Stratford’s grooviest soul choir – SHOUT – performing uplifting soul and pop music.

Tuck into homemade chilli con carne using Talton Mill home reared minced Aberdeen Angus beef and served with rice, fresh salsa and a natural yoghurt and coriander dressing. Followed by our tangy homemade lemon roulade.  Coffee and a sweet treat.

A £2.50 donation will be made from every ticket sold to MacMillan Cancer Support.

Licensed event with pay bar. We will light the firepit if weather permits.


Friday 21st December : Festive Farm Supper : £22.50 per head. 7pm . start. PAY BAR

Take a break from Christmas preparations and indulge in our Festive Farm Supper Night.  Enjoy a glass of mulled wine on arrival then tuck into home reared chicken, leek and chestnut crumble served with festive spiced red cabbage and peas.  Followed by warm christmas pudding chocolate brownies and brandy cream!  To finish … coffee and sweet treat.

Halloween Secret Supper Experience with Seymour Stiffs – The Undertaker

Dress to impress for Halloween “Devilishly good fun”

A one-off, truly unique Halloween supper at Talton Mill with the ‘Dark Provoker’ Seymour Stiffs – The Undertaker. Broad of shoulder and standing over six foot tall, Seymour has an unnerving presence among his supper guests.  Dare you spend an evening in his ‘chapel of unrest’?  There is no place to hide from the ‘bouffon’ Undertaker.


Seymour will not only entertain you but will also dine with his ‘congregation’ – PREPARE to enter the Minister of mirth and mayhem’s “chapel of unrest” and be mocked and shocked by his menacing eyes and disarming charm.

Price includes a three course halloween themed secret supper of shockingly scrumptious spooky nosh made with our top quality home reared free range meats and locally sourced veggies (vegetarians will be catered for).

Thursday 29th November : Talton Christmas Fair in The Mill Woodhouse. Free entry from 12-8pm

Your chance to purchase some lovely local gifts in time for Christmas. The Mill Woodhouse will be filled with festive stalls selling a variety of unique gifts, festive foods and stocking fillers for family, friends and pets.  Place your Christmas butchery orders and stop off for a browse, a light lunch or a cup of tea and a festive cake or two.
