Our Supper Club evenings return on Friday 10th September with our BATHECUE & BAND event. Join us for a BBQ and live music in the gardens of our Mill Woodhouse, alongside the millstream. We will be bringing out the “Bathecue” – our converted Victorian bath – to once again cook up a meaty feast accompanied by tasty salads and crusty bread. Followed by a choice of delicious homemade lemon cheesecake or chocolate brownies and chocolate sauce. Vegetarians and special dietary requirements catered for. The event is fully licensed and our mobile horsebox bar – The Straw Bar – will be serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Tickets £25.00. Mark the Butcher has decided to fully retire and has decided it is time to close the farm butchery on Saturday 28th August. He will continue to supply Talton Mill Events with home-cured bacon and homemade sausage for the foreseeable future, after which our meat will be sourced locally.

BUSHCRAFT & FORAGING
We have a few spaces available for our forthcoming Bushcraft & Foraging course on Saturday 17th July and Saturday 18th September. 9am to 2pm. £55 including coffee on arrival and a two course lunch.

Learn how to thrive in the natural environment. Master Herbalist and survival skills expert Simon Birbeck will give you the skills and knowledge to do so. Learn how to forage for natural foods and medicines on our 28 acre-small holding and around the local countryside meadows, hedgerows and woodlands. Simon will teach you fire craft, tracking, navigation by natural means, water sourcing and filtration, wood whittling, and container construction from natural materials. You will build a fire and brew up some nettle, pine or lemon balm tea on the open fire.
We are delighted to be welcoming Tread The Boards Theatre Company back to Talton Mill on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th August for a performance of their touring show ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Refreshments and food will be on sale for each performance.
